The XT Series amplifiers from KIND offer true professional quality, performance and road-proven reliability. XT models are designed to work hard into 2 ohm loads. Four 3 RU models, designed with dual mono topology, provide 900 to 2400 watts per channel at 2 ohms (FTC continuous average). All four models feature a compact chassis deep 453 mm (17.8”).

XT amplifiers include a comprehensive set of features including inputs XLR/M, XLR/F for loop-through connectivity and outputs Speakon® for fast and safety / secure connectivity, user-defeatable clip limiters and I.O.C. filter card (option) to optimize sonic performance.

All the models feature a two-tier, Class H design that is extremely efficient at real world power levels. Less AC current is wasted and more available current goes into producing useful audio power.

The XT Series incorporates comprehensive warning and protection features to safeguard the amplifier and all connected loudspeaker drivers. Front-panel indicators give clear warnings when any potential problems are detected. The protections are inaudible under normal use and all protection circuitry are independent for each channel. The output devices has been protected by limiting the output current in case the load connected is too low (less than 1 Ohm) or the output is in short circuit.The temperature management system constantly monitors the heatsink temperature. If the heatsink reaches an abnormal temperature for inadequate ventilation the load will be disconnected. To protect the connected loudspeakers from DC, a DC detection system monitors independently both output channels. If DC of 5V or higher is present, (due to a fault in the power amplifier itself or due to applied DC on the input), the load will be disconnect immediately.

The XT series, with his aluminium front panel, have a professional look and a very strong chassis; KIND design and construction has been tested and refined over many years. The circuit board design is modular, because this type of construction greatly improves future technical assistance.
